Product Description
Quartz gate brick is a special refractory material specially used for flow control or isolation systems in high-temperature industrial equipment (such as gate mechanisms of glass kilns, molten metal flow channels, etc.). Its main component is high-purity quartz sand (SiO₂ content ≥ 90%), which is made by high-temperature sintering or electric melting process. Some products will add a small amount of binder or stabilizer to improve mechanical strength and thermal stability.
1. High temperature resistance: It can work at high temperatures above 1600°C for a long time and can withstand higher temperatures for a short time.
2. High-precision dimensions: High surface flatness and small dimensional tolerance ensure the sealing and adjustment accuracy of the gate system.
3. Thermal shock resistance: Low thermal expansion coefficient, adaptable to frequent temperature fluctuations (such as hot and cold shocks when the gate is opened and closed).
4. Corrosion resistance: It has good corrosion resistance to glass liquid, acidic slag and high-temperature gas.
5. High mechanical strength: Excellent compression and flexural resistance to avoid the risk of breakage during gate operation.
1. Glass industry: gate mechanism for glass kilns to control the flow of glass liquid or separate different melting areas (such as working pool and melting pool).
2. Metallurgical industry: flow channel gate of metal melting furnace, tundish flow control device, etc.
3. Chemical high-temperature equipment: flow regulation or isolation components of high-temperature reaction vessels.
